Benson’s Family Funfair Opens
Thanks to Tommy and Denelia Benson and their family for the continued support and help they give to make the bonfire a great success.
The Copse Bar Opens
The official bar of the Ripley Bonfire Association opens. Situated on the green, serving the cheapest beer in the village and all proceeds go towards the event and the community.

Hog Roast Stall Stall Opens
Situated by the entrance to the green, serving freshly carved pork or lamb sandwiches and drinks. All proceeds go towards the event and the community.
Burger and Hot Dog Stall Opens
Situated by the entrance to the green.
Assembly of the Floats
The floats for the procession will assemble in the car park of the village hall. (Please note, this car park is closed for the duration of the event).
Assembly of Fancy Dress
All participants for the Fancy Dress Competition will assemble in the village hall.
Judging of the Fancy Dress and Floats
Judging of the Fancy Dress commences by the Ripley Bonfire Queen for the Lara Watts Trophy and prizes. Judging of the Floats by a guest judge for Annual Trophy and prizes.
Torchlit Procession Commences
The Torchlit Procession, led by the Ripley Bonfire Queen and her attendants, preceded by the band, leaves the village hall and makes its way to the green.
Lighting of the Bonfire!
The Torchlit Procession arrives at the green and the Ripley Bonfire Queen lights the bonfire.
Firework Display Commences
Thanks to Dynamic Fireworks for, year on year, delivering such an outstanding display.
(Please note, bar service at The Copse Bar is suspended during the display).
Live Music Begins
Live music commences next to The Copse Bar as service resumes for the remainder of the evening.
